Qualifications

Minimum of one year of prior medical office or healthcare experience preferred.

Excellent customer service, telephone, and communication skills; both written and verbal.

Demonstrated ability to remain calm, professional, and courteous in a fast-paced environment

Strong ability to multitask, prioritize competing demands, and remain organized while maintaining accuracy.

Adaptable and comfortable learning new technology, computer systems, and processes. Must be able to navigate multiple computer systems efficiently.

Ability to work independently and take initiative, while also working effectively as part of a team.

Ability to obtain and interpret patient information, in addition to understanding the various requirements and guidelines of workers comp and health insurance competently and accurately.

Ability to work professionally and collaboratively with patients, physicians, medical assistants, coworkers, and other personnel.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workflows while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.

Must demonstrate dependability, accountability, professionalism, and a patient-focused approach.
Responsibilties

Greet and assist patients.

Check patients in and out using multiple computer systems.

Schedule appointments.

Data entry.

Perform related functions as outlined by the department manager.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.
