2026) - OrthoSouth is proud to announce that its Germantown
Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) was named to Newsweek's 2026 list of America's
Best Ambulatory Surgery Centers, earning distinction as the top-ranked orthopedic
and spine surgery center in the state of Tennessee.
This recognition places OrthoSouth
Germantown ASC among only 700 facilities nationwide - out of more than 6,000
Medicare-certified ASCs - to achieve this prestigious recognition.
The Newsweek rankings,
developed in partnership with global data intelligence firm Statista, evaluate
facilities based on four key pillars: quality metrics, peer recommendations,
patient experience, and accreditations. The 2026 edition also incorporated new
measures from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, accreditation
data from The Joint Commission and ACHC, and performance benchmarks drawn from
Medicare Fee-for-Service claims data.
